This policy explains how RunIt collects and uses information for the RunIt customer app, RunIt Rider app, RunIt Partner app, website, admin tools, and related delivery operations in the Philippines.

Information we collect
Depending on how you use RunIt, we may collect:
- Account and contact details such as name, phone number, email address, Firebase user ID, role, and sign-in status.
- Customer order details such as delivery addresses, recipient names and phone numbers, location coordinates, cart items, notes, order status, refund requests, and support or dispute information.
- Rider details such as service area, vehicle type, plate number, license number, availability status, active-order location updates, proof-of-delivery photos, cash-remittance records, and payout records.
- Partner-store details such as store name, address, contact person, contact number, owner email, menus or products, availability, order preparation status, settlement, and payout records.
- Payment and refund information such as payment method, payment status, provider transaction IDs, refund status, and cash-on-delivery records. Card, bank, or e-wallet credentials are handled by payment providers and are not stored by RunIt.
- Device and app information such as push-notification tokens, app errors, crash diagnostics, request logs, IP address, and security audit logs.
App permissions
- Location is used in the customer app for service-area and delivery-address features, and in the rider app for service-area confirmation and foreground active-delivery tracking. RunIt does not currently use background location tracking.
- Camera or photo access is used only when you choose to capture or upload photos, such as customer profile or order-related photos and rider proof-of-delivery photos.
- Notifications are used for order updates, dispatch alerts, refund updates, partner order alerts, and service messages.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, process orders, dispatch riders, show order status, send notifications, support refunds and disputes, manage partner stores, calculate payouts and cash remittance, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain service reliability, and meet operational or legal requirements.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate RunIt. Customers, riders, partner stores, and RunIt operations staff may see the order and contact details needed to complete a delivery. We also use service providers for hosting, authentication, push notifications, crash diagnostics, payment processing, storage, maps or routing, SMS, and email. We do not sell personal information.
Retention
We keep account, order, payment, payout, refund, audit, and delivery records for as long as needed for operations, accounting, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and dispute handling. We remove or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, unless retention is required by law or legitimate business needs.
Security
RunIt uses authenticated access, role-based permissions, HTTPS, protected Firebase services, database controls, and operational audit records to help protect information. No system is perfectly secure, so users should keep their devices and sign-in credentials protected.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to update, correct, export, or delete personal information where applicable. Account and data deletion requests can be started from the RunIt account deletion page. Some information may need to be retained for completed transactions, legal obligations, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution. You can also disable notifications through your device settings.
Children
RunIt is not intended for children. Rider and partner accounts are intended for adults or authorized business representatives.
Changes
We may update this policy as RunIt grows. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
